Re: Joey Ryan files $10 million breach of contract lawsuit against Impact

I'm pretty shocked that Anthem didn't have some "automatic dismissal for bad behavior" clause, as those are pretty standard most places (in the US at least). If this is accurate, than Anthem really f*cked up here by being sloppy in their rush to get the good PR. They could have achieved the same thi...

Re: BRM Reviews the 10/7/2020 Dynamite (bad, other than Cody vs. Brodie)

Okay,, you're kooky, and here's why: Those aren't the only two ways to end a show. Just off the top of my head there is "big stare-down," "setting up a mystery," and "shocking revelation,"and even among just those four archetypes, there is lots of variety. For example, the "shocking revelation" can...

Re: Eva Marie set to return to WWE

She showed no interest in the business and no aptitude for it. How can you possibly be in favor of this in any way? Her exit was perfectly fine and kayfabe acceptable, and she was portrayed as (and came off in real life as) the sort of person who you don't want to see overcome such things because s...

NJPW G1 Climax XXX: Day 11 (10/7/2020)- Hiroshima, Japan GABRIEL KIDD vs. YOTA TSUJI- 5.75/10 This was good for the time it got. BLOCK A MATCH: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Yujiro Takahashi 0.75/10 Within moments, we’re fighting on the outside with no count-out. Ishii eats a reverse DDT onto the floor. Yujiro...

RIDGE HOLLAND INTERVIEW- good
He hints that he got paid off to attack Cole. A mystery is afoot.
was that a pun on Holland injuring himself minutes later?
Was a pun on the fact McAfee is a former Punter?🤔
Um... yes. Yes. That was definitely my intention.

I also haven't seen shit since March...so I agree and can guarantee an episode with Bob-O and myself offering merely outsider's perspective based purely on news and what not would he quite good. The possibilities are endless. You could just lie to us for an hour... "Yeah! So you're telling me you g...

Re: BRM Reviews the 10/7/2020 Dynamite (bad, other than Cody vs. Brodie)

Call my kooky, but I think this should happen more often, just for the sake of variety, and the fact that the show doesn't have to end the same two ways ("heels lay out babyfaces" or "babyfaces celebrate/ cut a promo") every time. Okay,, you're kooky, and here's why: Those aren't the only two ways ...

Re: Eva Marie set to return to WWE

I will be a fan of this if they acknowledge that she finally got over the "harassment from fans" that caused her to no show her last match in 2016 She showed no interest in the business and no aptitude for it. How can you possibly be in favor of this in any way? Her exit was perfectly fine and kayf...

BRM Reviews the 10/7/2020 Dynamite (bad, other than Cody vs. Brodie)

JERICHO TRIBUTE VIDEO- fine Chuck Taylor said “I patterned a lot of my career after what he did.” Yeah… I don’t see that at all. I liked that they did a good job of keeping this feeling kayfabe (other than that). Jim Ross claimed that tonight we would see “the first dog collar match of national repu...

Cero, please tell me that October 12th is some sort of second April Fool's Day type of thing in your culture.

It's absolutely Pat McAfee

Re: BRM Reviews the 10/7/2020 NXT

I’m on my phone so I can’t quote easily, but I think I saw what happened to Ridge. He caught Oney like he was supposed to and his legs just buckled and he fell over. He had a knee brace on when they carted him out. Yeah, they mentioned this after the commercial but I never went back and changed it.

TOMMASO CIAMPA vs. KUSHIDA- 6.75/10 KUSHIDA is wrestling in his street clothes gain. This was shaping up to be a GREAT match with KUSHIDA working the arm, but silly me made the mistake of think we were going to get a clean finish. Instead we got The Velveteen Dreaming interfering for the DQ. I did l...

nothing really, just wanted a 4th letter to sound more radio-ish. Maybe it could be the 'Xast' from Podxast
That works.

I haven't seen this one, but I think you should give 1992, 2000, 2001, and 2003 a watch.
2003 is just bad, sure it was another big win for Brock but nothing of interest happened other than Nowinski getting his face crushed
I thought it was excellent. I loved the recurring theme of betrayal.

I was really hoping the shows would be 50/50 between both tournaments to make them flow better, but oh well, at least now i can take a break every time it's a tag league show.
