Re: SmackDown viewership falls from last week; stays well ahead of pre-draft numbers
Admitedly, Smackdown is the lame duck show right now, but I think once the guys and gals on the show get to have match time and develop their characters it'll be much better.

Re: BRM's Thoughts and Kinda-Sorta Review of the WWE Draft
Yeah, splitting up tag teams is a hoot, it worked out so great for the Dudleys in 2002. Honestly I think that the Tag Team division will be the biggest beneficiaries to the Draft. People like The Ascension or Breezango who've gotten no TV time now have the opportunity to be used in angles and feuds....

Re: BRM Reviews WWF In Your House: Canadian Stampede (GREAT!)
Brian and Vinny are doing retro reviews of Raw and are at this point in their timeline. Brian noticed that Jimmy Korderas, a Canadian, deliberately made calls that benefited the Hart Foundation (not counting them out, relaxing the rules) was the ref Korderas for the 5-on-5? That might explain the re...

Short opening segment=unusually weak first hour. Maybe there's something to this.

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Money in the Bank 2016 (The Good, the Bad, and the Boring)
I know you're not high on Ambrose but I'm VERY eager to see how they proceed with a babyface champion that will actually get a pop. Also I've always sort of seen Dean as someone who's an asshole to everyone,, so I thought the cash in fit. Also I was super impressed by Corbin/Ziggler. I can say witho...

I thought Xavier's shoes were supposed to be Iron Shiek shoes, and I swear one of the commentators made that comparison at Extreme Rules.

Re: BRM Reviews the 6/6/2016 Raw (boring as hell)
I loved the opening segment of this Raw for two reason 1.Sami's facial expression when Teddy's music hit. This appeared to be a dream coming true for Sami 2. Teddy saying, "I'm gonna do my thing now" and going over to the side to start dancing to his theme, which was funny in itself, but S...

Re: BRM Reviews the 6/1/2016 NXT (good go-home show)
Gargano and Ciampa winning may not make much sense in terms of charting momentum, but I think this is a pretty good idea. They need to at least establish a #2 babyface team, and both guys are going into the Crusierweight deal soon, so they might as well get some TV wins. That #2 babyface team shoul...

STUPID ANNOUNCER QUOTES: 1. JBL explains that “Frank Gotch was one of the best shooters of all time.” What does that mean, exactly, in kayfabe? I think shooter is another term for "technical/collegiate wrestler" There was a stance you could pick in Smackdown Just Bring It for your create-...

Before we get started, I'd like to point out my favorite thing about WM1, Terrified Aflred Hayes. Whenever they cut to him to hype the next match, it appears that Vince is threatening him with bodily harm off camera and it's amazing. Opening logo/video package: Awesome. The opponents are show on opp...
