Re: WWE returning to Saudi Arabia in May
I think WWE knows they fucked up with the Saudi deal. Shane McMahon won the World Cup and it was immediately dropped. Luckily the Saudi Prince is a mark for WWE 1996-1999 so as long as somebody who falls into that category wins, the Prince is happy.

Re: BRM Reviews the 2/4/2019 Vial of Bubonic Plague Covered in Horse Manure Calling Itself Raw
it's crazy that knowing that Dean is leaving due to not liking how he is used, WWE still goes and has him do shit stuff. not saying give him a push, but at least give him a reason to believe that if he comes back he'll be happier. it's like WWE has accepted defeat that he's going to ROH or AEW and ...

Haha holy crap. Did you get possessed by Angry Video Game Nerd or something? (This isn't to negate anything in your review by the way it's still a good one.. It just sounds alarmingly like AVGN) I don't know who this Angry Video Game Nerd is, but he/she rants like this, I would like to hope that he...

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Worlds Collide
Feels like they wasted a lot of first time dream matches for a throwaway WWE show. it's a cool concept, but the execution seems terrible. I think having a tournament in conjunction with a special event or a holiday gives it more of a pro sports presentation actually (see NFL games on Thanksgiving, ...

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Worlds Collide
Jumping back and forth between the WWE Network and YouTube was not fun (the battle royale and the first match from each of the first two rounds, plus the semifinals and finals were on the Network, everything else was on YouTube), and it went so long that it all blended together after a while. I was...

A mandatory rematch, you say? I thought those were passé and we weren’t doing them anymore, Hunter. Isn’t that what you said on Raw a few weeks ago when you and your wife and your in-laws showed up and promised us that everything would change for the better? { quote} It seems like Johnny Saint woul...

DAVE MASTIFF vs. PRIMATE- 4.5/10 This was a very fun hoss-fight while it lasted. So glad Primate is signed. Dude was one of the highlights of WCPW and he's going to be a star in NXT some day too WALTER vs. JACK STARZ- squash WALTER basically went WALTER on him. Dude. As I said somewhere else here, ...

Re: The Funny Wrestling Topic
My friend surmised that Shane McMahon actually has the ability to do the "ORA ORA" punches from Fist of the Northstar throwing 100 punches at once, which is why people sell punches that don't hit.

Re: BRM Reviews the 1/15/2019 Smackdown (REY VS. ALMAS...and a whole bunch of stupid sh*t)
We then got a graphic for Rey vs. Almas which revealed that Kayla did not misspeak: WWE’s insane powers that be have decided that the “’Cien’ Almas” part of “Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas” had to go for some inexplicable reason. Normally when a foreigner loses part of their name in WWE on one of Vince’s ran...

Okada vs Shibata at Sakura Genesis 2017. It's such a crazy fight, the crux of which is one of the most simplistic but terrifying spot of all time. It's just an amazing match and nothing could top it.

Re: BRM Reviews NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool (very good... but I didn't like it?)
I like these guys elsewhere, but in NXT UK they feel like mere shadows of their PROGRESS selves. I'd find Dennis more interesting if he were feuding with Dunne or Andrews- AKA the two guys he said he was bitter at due to their careers succeeding early on and his not. I intentionally avoid modern in...

Re: BRM Reviews NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool (very good... but I didn't like it?)
I don't find Eddie Dennis boring anywhere else I see him, but in NXT UK he just feels so... blah. Y'all gonna make me cry with this Eddie Dennis hate. This was my first impression of Eddie and I LOVED him. He's like if Tim Curry took up wrestling instead of acting. He reminded me of Wade Barrett wi...

Re: NWK Reviews Chris Jericho's Rock n' Wrestling Rager at Sea (awful)
I've got to agree with BRM here. This goes back to a mostly-comedy tournament resulting in a new number 1 contender. I get that it was meant to be a fun show for the cruise crowd, as it shoud've been, but the fact that it was tied to a championship in some way means that you had to acknowledge this...

Re: NWK Reviews Chris Jericho's Rock n' Wrestling Rager at Sea (awful)
It's just so painfully apparent that everything about the match wasn't happening because it made sense but rather because "wouldn't it be so cool if...?" it's a match in a in a freaking cruise with costumes. don't try to connect everything to canon and make things serious. People paid a m...
