ROH Honor Takes Center Stage: Chapter 2 (4/2/2011)- Atlanta, GA
ADAM COLE & KYLE O’REILLY vs. THE KINGS OF WRESTLING- 7.5/10

COLT CABANA vs. DAVE TAYLOR (w/The Embassy)- 5/10. Disappointingly short, and never really got exciting.

Great transition to the next match:
TOMASSO CIAMPA (w/The Embassy) vs. Homicide- 6.25/10. Great cheating by the Embassy.
After the match, Cide smashes RD Evans in the face with a chair so hard that when he wakes up he’ll probably think he is in a marching band.

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS vs. MICHAEL ELGIN (w/Truth Martini)- 6.75/10, GREAT angle progression with Daniels here.

CORNETTE- DAVEY- EDDIE SEGMENT- Great tease, but I didn’t like it. EVERYONE’S ultimate goal should be to win the World Title (except in the case of certain, very dedicated tag teams). You don’t turn down a title shot just because your buddy is the champ… especially when you both thrive on competition like Eddie and Davey do. If they wanted to have Davey say no, they should have had him say that he doesn’t feel ready yet (as Davey feeling ready is the angle they have been building, anyway). I actually would have had Davey lose to Roddy last night and take the fall in the main event tonight to give some more reasoning for Davey not feeling ready yet, and also to make Roddy look strong for his inevitable (and likely soon) return match against Eddie.

SHIMMER TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Daizee Haze & Tomoka Nakagawa(c) vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto & Ayumi Kurihara- 6.5/10. Damn dirty cheating heels!
I LOVE the “EAT A SANDWICH!” chants at Daizee!

ALL NIGHT EXPRESS vs. THE BRSICOE BROTHERS- 9/10. Ridiculous amount of blood from Jay. Great post-match promo officially turning the Briscoes heel.
A chant of “YOU F*CK CHICKENS!” directed at the Briscoes. I have to admit, that is one chant I never thought I would hear.

EL GENERICO vs. RODERICK STRONG (w/TRUTH MARTINI)- 7.5/10
Good aftermath, though. Not sure how I feel about Daniels joining HOT. I think I would have preferred to have the Book of Truth remind him about the precepts that the founded the Prophecy and lead him to become a heel on his own, rather than as part of a stable, but I guess this could work, too.

THE AMERICAN WOLVES vs. WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM- 8.5/10 Some parts of this just seemed a bit too choreographed. The German Suplexes got old pretty quick.

Overall, a good show from ROH. They promised they would bring it this weekend, and they definitely did!
