ROH All-Star Extravaganza (11/9/2002)- Philadelphia, PA

LOW KI, HOMICIDE& STEVE CORINO BACKSTAGE- Great segment.

TAG TEAM SCRAMBLE MATCH: The SAT vs. Da Hit Squad vs. Special K vs. Divine Storm (w/Trinity)- 5.5/10.

THE PROPHECY BACKSTAGE- PERFECT! Daniels cuts a great promo, and Joe’s facial expressions in the background were perfect. Then, when Joe and Daniels had their confrontation… just... WOW!

GUANTLET MATCH
CM PUNK vs. MICHAEL SHANE vs. PAUL LONDON vs. AMAZING RED- vs. BRYAN DANIELSON- overall score of 7.5.

TOMMY DREAMER APPEARANCE- Good.

SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH FOR THE ROH TAG TEAM TITLES: The Prophecy (Christopher Daniels, Donovan Morgan, & Samoa Joe)(c) (w/Simply Luscious) vs. Low Ki, Homicide, & Doug Williams- 8/10 (only 7.75 wrestling-wise, but I bumped it up because of the post-match stuff).

ALEXIS LAREE vs. ALLISON DANGER (w/Mace)- 4/10… but it also involves Allison Danger kissing Mickie James.

BUNKHOUSE MATCH: The Carnage Crew vs. The Ring Crew Express (Dunn & Marcos)- Great squash, which built up the Carnage Crew for their upcoming match against Homicide & Abdullah the Butcher.

JT SMITH-SPECIAL K SEGMENT- eh.

ROH WORLD TITLE MATCH: Xavier(c) (w/Simply Luscious) vs. Jay Briscoe – 7.25/10 Xavier used a chair in full view of the ref, but the ref didn’t do anything.

#1 CONTENDER’S TROPHY MATCH: Bryan Danielson vs. AJ Styles- 8.5/10- FREAKING AWESOME! I think I like their match at Dissension more, but the story of that match was built around the finish to this match (and their second match, which I have yet to see).

Good aftermath, too

MASATO TANAKA & SHINJIRO OTANI vs. LOW KI & STEVE CORINO- 7/10, and it showed off Tanaka & Otani well.

CIDE ATTACKS CORINO BACKSTAGE- Cide brings his now-famous fork into this feud.

Overall, this was a great show. Pick it up if you can.
