Ratings are in for this week's installment of the Wednesday Night Wars.

AEW Dynamite, with matches taped on the Chris Jericho cruise the previous day, averaged 871,000 viewers, down seven percent from last week.

The show finished eighth on cable in the 18-49 demo with a 0.35 rating, down eight percent from last week. Last week's show had finished in fifth place.

NXT was up 10 percent in viewers, averaging 769,000. They were up 14 percent in the 18-49 demo with a 0.24 rating, which landed NXT in 35th place for the night on cable.

As shown in the chart below, numbers for both shows were very close to their 10-week average.

As per usual, Dynamite won in every demo except for those over 50. NXT had an edge of 0.38 to 0.34 in that category. The gap was largest with men 18-49, where Dynamite finished 50 percent higher than NXT with a 0.48 to 0.32 advantage.
