Raw last night averaged 1.72 million viewers, its lowest since the end of football season. The episode drew a 0.49 rating in 18-49, which would be the lowest Raw has done against non-football competition except during the Performance Center tapings era.

Raw was still first on cable, beating Below Deck on Bravo which did a 0.44 rating in 18-49. As far as overall viewers, Raw was 19th, which is better than recent normal, because news was down and fewer people were watching cable than on most Mondays.

The first-to-third hour drop was a little bigger than in most recent weeks, which does speak to the staying power this week of the Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton match as the advertised and pushed main event. But it was a huge drop in women, while men -- and boys in particular -- did great as far as sticking with the show.

Raw was going to drop from last Monday, since last week was the show after the Royal Rumble. The declines were nine percent in viewers, 16 percent in 18-49, and 12 percent in 18-34.

As compared to the same week last year, the declines were 27 percent in viewers, 39 percent in 18-49, and 45 percent in 18-34.

The decline also came against weaker competition, news numbers weren't high and the only competing sports show was a college basketball game on ESPN that averaged 630,000 overall viewers and a 0.17 rating in 18-49.

The first-to-third hour drops were 39 percent for women 18-49, which is almost unheard of, but men 18-49 only dropped five percent, far lower than usual. Teenage girls dropped 19 percent and teenage boys actually gained 27 percent from the first hour to the third hour, also almost unheard of in a positive way. The largest audience, over 50, fell a normal 10 percent.

So the third hour decline can really be put at women 12-49.

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 1.82 million viewers
9 p.m. 1.74 million viewers
10 p.m. 1.59 million viewers
