WWE REPORTEDLY SIGNS TAYA VALKYRIE AND HARLEM BRAVADO

Taya Valkyrie and Harlem Bravado have reportedly signed with WWE.
PWInsider reported this afternoon that both Valkyrie and Bravado have signed with the company. Valkyrie left Impact last month following their Hard to Kill pay-per-view event. It was revealed that she was the person that shot Jon E. Bravo, framing Larry D for the crime. Tommy Dreamer and Acey Romero later figured out it was Valkyrie and had her arrested, writing her off the show.
A Lance Storm trainee, Valkyrie joined AAA in 2012 and won the Reina de Reinas championship on three occasions. She joined Impact in 2017 and won the Impact Knockouts title once, holding it for a record 377 days.
Bravado had been a regular in EVOLVE from 2013 through its closure last year. He and his brother Lance trained at the ROH Dojo under Delirious and competed in Ring of Honor from 2008 through 2012. He also did tours in Pro Wrestling NOAH in 2012 and 2013.
It was reported this week that University of Central Florida football player Parker Bordeaux and GCW regular Blake Christian have also signed with the company.

Either Gabe made some strong promises when he gave EVOLVE to Hunter, or WWE has reached the bottom of the barrel, where the Harlem Bravados of the world lay

It depends what you're looking for. Is Harlem going to headline anything ever? Probably not. But if you're looking for a solid veteran hand to be a player-coach and put people over on NXT TV, Harlem Bravado is a great choice. Think of it like the Saxon Huxleys or Nina Samuels of the world in NXT UK. A promotion needs an undercard, and if it's someone you can build a little cache up in first before using them as a JTTS, then that's even better.

WWE already has like 300 of those signed, they've been using guys like Cesaro for that spot for years. He's a competent enhancement talent, but it's not like he was needed or is gonna make a difference. I'm sure he posted something on twitter about AEW and WWE immediately signed himBig Red Machine wrote: ↑Feb 15th, '21, 19:08It depends what you're looking for. They actually really don't have those guys in NXT right now. Everyone is either a trainee or someone they seem to be planning to push eventually.cero2k wrote: ↑Feb 15th, '21, 20:14WWE already has like 300 of those signed, they've been using guys like Cesaro for that spot for years. Also, weren't you the guy who was upset when WWE laid people off? Well the evil corporation is using some of their money to give more people jobs. Shouldn't you be applauding them for signing this poor out of work indy worker?

The Bravado Bros were a half-way decent tag team back in the day. Thought they both retired.
NWK Reviews is closed for business for now.

Everyone will always be a trainee or someone to push in their eyes, but 70% of them are booked like enhancement talent anyway. WWE doesn't sign enhancement talent anymore.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Feb 15th, '21, 21:46

We're almost a year apart from these situations, they fired people when Wrestling was stalled and the future of many insecure, we are now many months later, indie wrestling is active all over the world again, promotions are all open to hire people now, google 'wrestlemania weekend calendar' and it feels like nothing has changed, seems like PWG is the only promotion that still remembers we're in pandemic. Wrestlers in the US aren't "poor out of work" anymore unless they're not trying, anyone who has, has been easily booked for months. I'm also no complaining that WWE hired him, of all people that have been hired in this latest raid, Bravado is the least important, i'm just pointing out how bottom of the barrel WWE has reached.
