Impact Wrestling got a ratings increase for its first episode since moving to Thursday nights.

Thursday's Impact averaged 168,000 viewers on AXS TV, up from the 149,000 viewers that the final Tuesday episode of the show averaged last week. This was Impact's best viewership number since February 23.

The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.06. That tied the February 16 episode for the best rating Impact has done in the demo in 2021.

Impact ranked 115th for the night on cable in 18-49. Last week's episode wasn't in the cable top 150.

This week's Impact featured AEW World Champion Kenny Omega's first non-PPV match for the promotion. The episode went against night two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, which aired exclusively on Peacock in the United States. Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 6, which aired as an iPPV on Fite TV, also took place at the same time as Impact.

Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards & Willie Mack defeated Omega & The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) in the main event of this week's Impact. Omega and Impact World Champion Swann are facing off in a title vs. title match at Impact's Rebellion pay-per-view on Sunday, April 25.

Here's a look at Impact ratings

March 2 -- 134,000 viewers (0.03 rating in 18-49)
March 9 -- 144,000 viewers (0.04 rating in 18-49)
March 16 -- 146,000 viewers (0.04 rating in 18-49)
March 23 -- 116,000 viewers (0.04 rating in 18-49)
March 30 -- 149,000 viewers (0.04 rating in 18-49)
April 8 (first Thursday episode, Omega in action) -- 168,000 viewers (0.06 rating in 18-49)

It's meaningless, but impressive considering that they went against a Takeover AND Bloodsport

I guess Omega doing his in-ring debut at this point, if they stay up next week, maybe the day change helped
