Jon Moxley and Nick Gage will face off in a title vs. career match at GCW Fight Club.
The event takes place October 8 & 9 from the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City and will air on FITE TV. GCW has yet to announce which night Moxley vs. Gage will take place on.
Moxley defeated Gage to retain the GCW Championship at last year's Fight Club event on October 9, 2021. One year later, they will run it back again but this time Gage's career will be on the line as well.
At GCW Homecoming earlier this month, Gage came out to confront the champion after Moxley had just defended his title against Effy. Gage challenged Moxley to a title match but Moxley responded that he would only do so if Gage put his career on the line as well. On Tuesday, GCW made the match official for Fight Club.
Moxley first won the GCW Championship at The Art of War Games from Matt Cardona on September 4, 2021. He has since defended the belt six times against Gage, Homicide, AJ Gray, Tony Deppen, Blake Christian, and Effy.

So what do we think? Is Gage retiring, is Moxley losing the AEW belt at All Out, or is Tony willing to let his champion do a job in someone else's promotion to someone not under AEW contract?

I’ll tell you what will happen.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Aug 31st, '22, 15:35 So what do we think? Is Gage retiring, is Moxley losing the AEW belt at All Out, or is Tony willing to let his champion do a job in someone else's promotion to someone not under AEW contract?
Gage will bleed, then Moxley will bleed. There’ll be a silly weapon like a fork or chopsticks deployed, few near falls and then Moxley will win.

This could legitimately be as it goes, except both men go unconscious due to blood loss. Not sure if gcw does finishes like thatXIV wrote: ↑Sep 1st, '22, 15:38I’ll tell you what will happen.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Aug 31st, '22, 15:35 So what do we think? And the gentleman's wager is on. Loser has to watch AEW Dark Elevation on repeat for a month.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Sep 1st, '22, 17:32No way Moxley doesn't bleed first.XIV wrote: ↑Sep 1st, '22, 15:38I’ll tell you what will happen.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Aug 31st, '22, 15:35 So what do we think? I smell a double-cross coming when Nick Gage pops up at the last second. You better bleed first, Moxley. I'm too far behind on wXw to add this to my list.XIV wrote: ↑Sep 2nd, '22, 03:57And the gentleman's wager is on. Loser has to watch AEW Dark Elevation on repeat for a month.
