Ruby Soho and Alex Reynolds both suffered injuries during their matches at the AEW All Out PPV event on Sunday.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Soho received a broken nose during her match against Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo. Her partner was Ortiz. The report indicates that Reynolds was seen on crutches backstage, but that whatever the injury is doesn’t appear to be serious. Reynolds was involved in the finals of the World Trips Championship tournament. He teamed with other members of Dark Order to take on The Elite.

These two injuries add to the list for AEW. CM Punk reportedly suffered a torn tricep during his main event AEW World Championship match against Jon Moxley.

Punk’s world championship was vacated and Tony Khan announced a tournament to crown a new champion at Grand Slam.

AEW have had one of the most significant injury lists in the last 12 months plus. Perhaps of all time. Never have so many wrestlers been out at once.

Is this just because it's a bunch of unsafe people doing shit to themselves and others? Is it just pure bad luck? Is it maybe, just maybe, a pure combination of both.

Unsafe people? Yeah definitely.
Bad luck? Maybe some.

You can also add injury-prone guys like Samoa Joe, people over 40 in general who are more vulnerable to injuries, lack of ring practice (a light schedule is nice and all, but wrestling once every month will lead to ring rust and everything that comes with it), lack of motivation (Atom Cole, Storm, Rosa, ...), lack of self-control (let's hope it's nothing, but Moxley's been bloating out again).

Ahhh yes. All valid points.

I don't know about at once, but over the course of 2007 WWE had major injuries to Cena, Orton, Taker, Hunter, Edge, Lashley, and Mr. Kennedy (who had MITB at the time), plus Rey missed a chunk of the year due to an injury from 2006 and Benoit died.

Plus, during that time you had RVD and Booker T both leave the company, and Flair was out for a few months with a worked injury.

Off the top of my head alone, in the last 12 months we've seen...
CM Punk
Christian Cage
Kenny Omega
Adam Cole
Kyle O'Reilly
Kris Statlander
CM Punk again
Ruby Soho
Jeff Hardy
Lee Johnson
Scorpio Sky
Darius Martin
Santana
Thunder Rosa

All disappear with injuries. I'm sure there are more!
Have A Nice Day!

I'm shocked nothing more has been said about this most recent Ruby Soho injury, considering how careless Sammy was with her, and she seems to be very close to the guy who just took a swing at Sammy.

I think there's so much going on backstage that this may have gotten lost in the mire, but you are correct.
