Because Cena is the posterboy for the company, and if he gets in trouble than it destroys the whole air of "Cena can do no wrong, therefore we must trust him to fix this company" type mentality.

Besides, if something happened that Cena was off TV, even for a suspension for 30 days or whatever (Heaven forbid they need something else to carry RAW, like TALENT!), so many kids would be turned off of it and there goes a huge part of the fanbase (and the profits...)

It kinda looked like he just hit him on the bill of his hat.

Or he just stuck the chair out and Harris just ran into it.
Reality TV is faker than "fake" wrestling!

Was cleverly done. Clearly Cena just caught the bill of his hat and the noise from the chair to door was present... It would never have actually hit him...

Though I know they're banned... for wrestler protection... but even protected head chair shots are banned...

You know, slowly, since Linda's campaign is up, WWE has slipped on its PG...

Chair shot to head...
Mae Young!
John Cena going non PG in his leaving speech...
"Sexual" Chocolate (for one night)
There are more....

Anyone else noticed this pattern? Perhaps this is why Cena isn't paying consequences...

I hope this "slip" actually means that they're going to give up on being PG sometime soon... Personally, I don't like it. :p

The chair shots I can understand though.

That chairshot wasn't a "real" chairshot. Cena smacked the chair against the dorr (making the sound), and Harris dropped. It was good acting and cleverly done. Because of the door, there was very little riskt oc contact all Harris has to do is not walk through the door until he hears the sound, and then drop, and the camera angle mkaes it LOOK as if Cena smashed him in the face with the chair.

Looking at it again, he could have been anything up to 3 or 4 inches from the chair itself anyways.
