Kobald, too, apparently, based on CHIKARA's statement.

MLW ring announcer, too. Inappropriate texts to a 15-year-old

The "Me too" movement has hit wrestling HARD. All these mid level talents are done. This gives WWE free reign to save more money and bring the axe down. There's too many NXT UK guys for this not to put that brand in serious trouble if any of these turn out to be proven.

Could they use this to save money? Yes. But so far, the only head that has rolled is Gallagher, who really hasn't ever been NXT UK. Banks, Joe Coffey, Wolfgang, Devlin, and Ligero are all still employed (and I'm not suggesting that they shouldn't be without evidence... although I think Banks did admit to dating McKenzie when she was 17, but I don't know if that's actually illegal if you don't have sex). But if Gallagher gets fired for this and the allegation is later proven false and no one else is let go without definitive evidence, he could have grounds for a lawsuit.

Depends which country Banks resided in when dating McKenzie. In this country, age of consent is 16, so it wouldn't be illegal in the UK for example.

Not forgetting that Tyler Bate was also included in that list, although all the stuff has been removed from Twitter relating to all of that.

Bate, Coffey & Devlin are three of the bigger draws to NXT UK (particularly here, I don't know about other world audiences) so if those are lost, it could hit the brand fairly hard.

I really can't imagine NXT UK surviving this. At this point, they'll either close the whole thing down and try to keep the few worthwhile names who aren't tainted (Dragunov, WALTER although it's clear he doesn't want to relocate, some of the women like Storm, KLR, Brookside and maybe a couple more) or rebrand as NXT Europe and move the focus on the continent.

not if they were in a teacher/student position at the time.

Depends on the rules of the company. Most would have it as a rule. But that doesn't make it against the law. Unless it is a law in the US.

didn't Sexual Offences Act 2003 in the UK make is so that someone 18+years that is a 'person of trust' (read as teacher/trainer) cannot have sexual relationships with students under 18?

Not necessarily, so that refers to a "person of trust" meaning that if a person is being "cared for" within a hospital, child home style setting. (They are seen as a vulnerable person, so any professional in that environment could not engage in sexual contact). OR a person within an educational setting, so it will depend entirely if the individuals were in a legitimate and certified educational environment. If not, such rules would not apply. So it is entirely circumstantial.

Terrible, but not surprising. They've been known as physically abusive and unbalanced scumbags for a while. Paige appears to be the best of them, being only occasionally unbalanced and not (to our knowledge) violent and abusive (Alberto did make this claim, but when you consider that it was his counterclaim to people saying he was abusive to her, I'm not sure how much I believe it. Or maybe they're both telling the truth and it was a two-way street).
In Bryan's book he notes that on his first night in the UK, they beat the sh*t out of someone backstage and threatened to throw him out of a window (he doesn't give names, but he referees to them as males and says that they are "relatives of a current WWE Diva," so it's clearly two of the three male Knights from context").

The news about the Knights doesn't shock me, they're 40 miles from me and there have been rumours about their conduct particularly to young wrestlers in particularly shocking. Beasting them unecessarily, going into business for themselves assaulting them in the ring in their first match in front of a crowd in order to "teach them a lesson" about protecting themselves against people taking advantage and all sorts. All just rumour of course.

A lesson to all promotions, make sure you know who uses accounts with your name/logo on them. (ie Greg Price having the NWALegends account)

One would think that Corgan could probably sue to get the guy to change the name, right?

I'm a bit surprised that the whole deal with DJ Hyde that happened a few weeks ago hasn't come back yet.

I think it started because CZW/WSU sold their library to some content provider who repackaged the women's matches as comps with basically porn names while the men's content has generic names like Best of the Extreme/Most Dangerous/whatever. Some women took offense (LuFisto and Kimber Lee were the main two) and made it known on social media (and Youtube in LuFisto's case), then it kinda snowballed to "DJ Hyde only books women he wanna fuck" to some stories coming out about inappropriate behavior on his part. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details and it's probably under a billion #SpeakingOut tweets at this point.
