LEON VAN GASTEREN VIDEO PACKAGE- good character stuff. I guess this means he was supposed to be in a Shotgun Title Tournament match against Julian Pace tonight that got cut as a result of Pace’s firing.
AVALANCHE HELPS ANI MARIK TRAIN FOR HIS AMTCH AGAINST MARIUS AL-ANI- great!
They’re working on escaping Al-Ani’s ankle lock. We also learned that the reason Avalanche’s match against Metehan last week was over so quickly was because Metehan injured Avalanche’s leg on that chop-block.
MARIUS AL-ANI vs. ANIL MARIK- 4/10
This was a GREAT short match. Marik was able to counter the ankle lock… at which point Al-Ani went nuts and just brutalized the poor kid. That knee was VICIOUS.
MARIUS AL-ANI INTERVIEW & CONFRONTATION WIH AVALANCHE- GREAT!
Al-Ani buries the wXw Academy trainees as “wimps” with “no disciple.” Avalanche comes out to defend his training and his students. These two had an excellent confrontation. Al-Ani vowed that he would become wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion while Avalanche rots at the wXw Academy.
LEVANIEL & AMALE HAVE A SKYPE CALL- great
Apparently Amale hasn’t been watching the show. Levaniel claims that he volunteered to fight Kelly to stop her from being #1 contender… and Amale immediately yells at him for suggesting a match where Kelly has the chance to become #1 contender. Oh Levaniel. You never cease to entertain me. Has there ever been a better incompetent undercard comedy heel than Levaniel?
NORMAN HARRAS PROMO- FANTASTIC!
This was a heel cutting a babyface promo and still managing to sound like a heel.
HEKTOR INVICTUS INTERVIEW- very good
METEHAN INTERVIEW- good character stuff
I like that Metehan is considering Lucky Kid to essentially be a different person. He’s reborn. He’s not that guy anymore.
This was a very good little episode of Shotgun 2020. We had a match that was very good for the time it got, a lot of great character stuff, and very good build for next week’s Shotgun Title tournament finals between Hektor Invictus and Metehan.
