TYSON T-BONE vs. ILJA DRAGUNOV- 5.5/10
A good bounce-back win for Ilja.

WOMEN’S TITLE VIDEO PACKAGE- good

JACK GALLAGHER PROMO- great hype for a rematch with Kassius Ohno, which will likely take place next week.

JOSEPH CONNERS vs. OLIVER CARTER- 6/10
I totally forgot that Conners existed. Like I said with Ohno before his match with Dragunov, Conners needed to win one here or risk turning into a total joke, so as much as I like Oliver Carter, I’m happy that Conners won here.

CESARO INTERVIEW- He’s going to show up at TakeOver: Cardiff and take a “hands-on approach.” That should be interesting.

A rematch between Rhea Ripley and Piper Niven has been booked for next week.

KENNY WILLIAMS vs. JORDAN DEVLIN- 7.5/10

NXT UK TITLE MATCH VIDEO PACKAGE- good

TAG TITLE MATCH HYPE SEGMENT- fine, I guess
Grizzled Young Veterans come out and complain about having to defend their titles in a three-way. Gibson made a great point that it’s silly that people earned tag title shots by winning singles matches. The other teams came out for some obligatory brawling until we went off the air.


A very good show from NXT UK, serving as an effective go-home show for TakeOver without feeling devoid of anything useful on its own merit.

I hope the titles stay with GYV, I didn’t like that they beat Moustache Mountain at first BUT they’ve been excellent champions and I just feel that none of the others teams feel big enough to take the titles from them yet. I hope they reign longer.
