LINCE DORADO vs. ARIYA DAIVARI- 7/10
A great opener.

ONEY LORCAN PROMO- great!
He’s going to get revenge on Lorcan tonight, then go after Gulak’s title.

BRIAN KENDRICK PROMO- great!
I’m loving this heel turn.

JACK GALLAGHER vs. BRIAN KENDRICK (w/Akira Tozawa)- no rating, disappointing segment
They started off doing some great work for their story and did an ingenious spot where Kendrick kicked Gallagher into Tozawa and Gallagher demanded that Tozawa leave ringside even though in Tozawa’s view he didn’t really do anything wrong, and meanwhile Kendrick is getting away with using his friend to take advantage of a situation in a way his friend would disapprove of if he realized what was happening but there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for everything. In fact, the real story here isn’t the feud between Gallagher and Kendrick but rather how long Kendrick can keep stringing Tozawa along for.
And then they just flushed that all away by having Kendrick use the distraction of Gallagher, Tozawa and the referee al arguing to hit Gallagher with a Kendo stick right in front of Tozawa for the DQ. Kendrick hit Gallagher with the stick while Tozawa shouted “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” at him. Then Kendirck used it to lock in his submission finisher, at which point Tozawa ran in and pulled him off, then threw the Kendo stick out of the ring. And then, while Tozawa was checking on Gallagher, Kendrick came back and hit Tozawa with the Kendo stick as well. They blew threw about a month’s worth of TV in one segment, and in a relatively clumsy way, as well.

SARAH SCHREIBER INTERVIEWS HUMBERTO CARRILLO- great babyface stuff
He says he had the Cruiserweight Title match won at the PPV but Gulak stole his pin. He vows to earn another title shot and win the title.

TONY NESE vs. ONEY LORCAN- 6.75/10
This was a decent brawl that ended when Gulak came out to distract Lorcan, allowing Nese to roll him up for the pin with a handful of tights. Nese declared this to be “doing business.”

This was a subpar episode of 205 Live in the ring and I was disappointed by the booking, but at least the promos were great.
