ARIYA DAIVARI vs. ISAIAH “SWERVE” SCOTT- 7.5/10
Daivari shoved Swerve off the turnbuckle and down to the floor during his entrance then beat him up on the outside. Refs came out to separate them and Swerve insisted he was okay to compete so the official referee for this match ordered the bell to be rung.
This match was a lot of the main event style I was expecting from these two last week in their main event match. Scott won cleanly again.

JACK GALLAGHER vs. RAY JAZIKOFF- 0.5/10
This was a match that seemed like it was supposed to be a squash but they went way too long and let the jobber get too much offense in.

They announced that NXT UK will be “joining” 205 Live for next week’s show. That’s rather odd phrasing, considering the big angle we just saw on Smackdown.

RAUL MENDOZA vs. LIO RUSH- 7.75/10
A GREAT match, but with completely baffling booking. How does Mendoza beating #1 contender Tony Nese last week possibly lead to Mendoza then losing to the champion rather than beating the champion in a non-title match this week and the eventual title match becoming a triple threat match?

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- fine
Rush showed Mendoza respect, then celebrated a bunch.

A fine episode of 205 Live, but the booking of the main event is definitely something of a black cloud hanging over it.
