BRM Reviews the 11/18/2021 NXT UK

A-KID vs. SAM GRADWELL- 7.75/10
An excellent power vs. technique match.

“FLASH” MORGAN WEBSTER UPDATE- He suffered a shoulder injury in his match against Rampage Brown two weeks ago, and will thus be out of action indefinitely.

ILJA DRAGUNOV PROMO- awesome
He’s not intimidated by Rampage Brown. “Legends and myths aren’t written about the giants. They’re written about the courageous heroes who made them fall.”

ALEAH JAMES vs. NINA SAMUELS- 4/10
James wins with a roll-up. Her underdog push continues.

SAM GRADWELL’S INTERVIEW IS INTERRUPTED BY NAOM DAR AND SHA SAMUELS BEING LOUD- Oh goody, another Gallus. Gradwell told them to f*ck off. They made fun of him, then left because he was killing their buzz. Are they trying to turn Gradwell babyface? That will either be the best thing ever or it won’t work at all, and there is no possible middle ground.

ALEAH JAMES INTERVIEW- good
She’s very happy after her win and wants to keep the momentum going. I was shocked when she wasn’t interrupted, but after she left, didn’t get three steps before being jumped Isla Dawn, who took… some of her hair, maybe?

SAXON HUXLEY vs. KENNY WILLIAMS- 5/10
Williams outsmarts the big dummy to get the win.

EARLIER TODAY, XIA BROOKSIDE ARRIVES AT THE PC- meh
She’s very happy, and when asked, says she’ll be seeing Sid Scala soon. Someone shows up to tell her that she is fifteen minutes late for training, but she says that she doesn’t need to train because she has her own one-on-one class, and she verifies this with a note. This was fine. It was nice to see that Xia’s acting did not hit utterly embarrassing level of her last appearance (for which my brother and future sister-in-law were in the room, so I mean the embarrassing part literally).

MARK ANDREWS INTERVIEW EARLIER THIS WEEK- good
He puts over Nathan Frasier, who he beat last week. Jordan Devlin interrupts him and ells him that when you only have a limited time on camera, you should talk about yourself, not others. Devlin suggested that he start acting like an ace rather than a “bit-part player.” As a result of this interaction, Johnny Saint has booked a match between these two for next week.

ROHAN RAJA & TEOMAN vs. GALLUS (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) (w/Joe Coffey)- 7/10
Charlie Dempsey attacked Joe Coffey at ringside. It’s nice to see Coffey get what he deserves for being a jerk. The distraction this caused allowed Teoman and Rohan to win.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- good
Teoman and Raja attacked Gallus, and Dempsey joined in.

A good episode of NXT UK.
