This all started when these gentlemen left Ron Fuller's wrestling promotion in 1979 to form their own company. This causes the two companies to have a war that lasts for half a year. The war consists of sabotaging booking, calling out wrestlers from each other's companies to fight in the public, hotshotting angles and others. The guys had their way and the Fullers left Knoxville. However, it came with the price of the territory's destruction. Fans stopped showing up due to the antics and business died during the 80's wrestling boom until Crockett took over.
It seems like they were desperate to kick the Fullers of Knoxville to a point that they would put their careers and the business on the line.

A lot of the talk they use here is dated, so who knows... but Ronnie Garvin at 14:30 good lord...
"...but after it's over... we're probably drinking a beer... smoking, eating... you name it, we do it. Lovin' together, parties... it's a way of life for a wrestler..."
He also talks about growing up "on the streets" in Canada. Fighting with "bats and chains".

I just got the image in my head of Garvin fighting off a horde of bats on the street
