Maybe not... they might fire him instead.
I can't help but wonder too if this is still illness-related... If he tried too hard too fast and has to take a bit of time off and slow down. This would be a good way to do that.
Literally get out of here. He won't be any kind of "fired" lol.
Roman to AEW confirmed.

He could get "fired" and then just rehired again by someone else. That's the thing with having Steph, Shane and Hunter on top of having Vince.
I just don't think it'll happen.

To be fair, whatever they do, at least they're following up.

I was kind of digging what they'd started, with Vince changing everything Hunter and Steph were doing... which was either a friction angle that got scrapped, or never supposed to be anything beyond a reason to change plans with no explanation and piss off the fans.

It's funny to me that Owens was Vince's "hand picked guy" to screw over Kofi Kingston and now Owens is trying to prove himself worthy of teaming with Kofi Kingston...

Where he'll show up in a Bullet Club t-shirt and immediately be treated like the top babyface by the fans.

Alright....so let the speculation and thoughts run? Is O or E turning on the new Day?

I've seen people say both lol, which is also just as possible in their own time spans.

I think people are reading way too much into all of this. I don't see any evidence that this is much more than a short-term thing. It comes across as something they did to fill time on a show that was all about the Superstar Shake-up announcements rather than the matches actually mattering, so they filled time with "comedy" (and I use that term very loosely) instead of filling time with matches.

I say New Day turns on KO. Far more possibilities with a heel New Day, and takes care of that pesky fanbase that's going to sympathize with Kofi when Roman shifts into gear.

I mean, if a heel turn Kevin Owens doesn't come from the "Vince McMahon chosen to replace him in the title match"...something should...

that's way in the past, now he either turns on Kofi to chase the title, or Big E betrayes the New Day for replacing him after one week off.
