Most of these aren't worth trademarking, but I understand them doing it given AEW's odd desire to piggyback off of WCW's legacy.

if WWE owns the video of these shows, it's just smart to have the names, i don't know why they let them lapse at all.

Apparently not for fair use pertaining to wrestling. I foresee The Forgotten Sons getting their own PPV.

After the first event, WCW changed the name to Road Wild because of a potential trademark issue with the Harley-Davidson club Harley Owners Group (HOG).
I did not know this! The Mickie James renaissance is postponed until further notice.


They could absolutely still rehash Greed for a Saudi show, I think the Harley Owners Group would be alright with that. They might even accept it as compensation for NXT TakeOver: Hog Wild
