Well of course he's going to deny it.

The WON Tweet seems to imply that Cody is saying that there is in-fighting and it's recent, but the WON Tweet doesn't actually make much sense, either.

Holy crap. I remember minute details from this era, but I had zero memory of this. I think we might have collectively blocked it out of our brains because... ICK.

Also, everyone should listen to Between The Sheets every week. It's long, but you'll learn A LOT.

I've gotten into it, but it is HARD to leave it on for more than 1 or 2 hours at a time, let alone 6. I try to get them in when I know there are no other podcasts that day and I can let it on while I work

Be glad you don't have a commute of over an hour each way.

It's fine in the afternoon, but I'd rather not have the commute in the morning.

Meltzer said that both NXT Champion Karrion Kross and North American Champion Bronson Reed as now on the list to be brought up to the main roster after their recent dark matches and Main Event matches. It's unclear if Kross will remain with Scarlett as they were considering separating them. He said there was talk of Scarlett getting a look Friday.
This isn't even "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." This is "if it ain't broke, don't do something that can only possibly lead to it breaking!"

I mean... you'd think they'd f*cking learn after the number of times they've broken some act up, and it has only hurt people, but apparently not.

There was a video (already taken down by WWE), of Kross' entrance for Main Event without Scarlett, it was the driest most generic thing you've seen since short hair Dolph Ziggler, if they removed the video after the backlash, maybe the learned from their mistake

On the actual show, Bix made the point that this segment track with the beginning of the Steph/Savage rumors popping up.

Other notes from Bix on the segment as a whole:
- For two people with the real-life backstory that Vince and Sable have, they had a creepy amount of chemistry as on-screen lovers.
- When Steph barges into the room, she very clearly starts to say "get the f*ck out" before stopping herself and just saying "get out!" Hmmm...

Also, Kris noted that STEPH is the head of Creative at the time.

I'm pretty sure most see this (except those indoctrinated COUGHSethRollinsCOUGH), the difference is that the Aleister Blacks of the world wanna make sure the bridge is good for a potential return one day.
