The nWo was born on Memorial Day 1996 when Scott Hall and later Kevin Nash arrived and @ the Bash @ the Beach, Hulk Hogan became the 3rd man and the nWo was formed

also, A car accident suffered by Guerrero on January 1, 1999 would help bring a premature end to the LWO. Three days later, the two factions of the New World Order reunited, and before long, various members of the LWO were found lying unconscious backstage. The nWo approached the LWO and demanded they immediately disband or face further consequences. Every member other than Mysterio agreed, removing their LWO shirts and exiting the ring. Mysterio, who was not originally a willing member of the group, proved himself the most loyal when he refused to remove his LWO colors. The nWo beat him down and forcibly tore off his LWO shirt, leading to a feud between Mysterio and The Outsiders.

The reunited nWo also betrayed their only Latino member, Konnan, who had objected to the brutality used against Mysterio, leading them to form a team against The Outsiders. As Eddie Guerrero healed and made his in-ring return, key LWO members such as himself, Mysterio, and Juventud Guerrera formed a popular new group with Konnan known as the Filthy Animals.

nWo 2000 The traditional nWo logo was silver instead of white, and the catchprase "The Band is Back Together" was used-Jeff Jarrett, Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Scott Steiner, Ron & Don Harris

Note: Bret Hart was injured and Jarrett turned on Hall & Nash and it would soon be Jeff Jarrett as the U.S. Heavyweight Champion, The Harris Brothers as WCW World Tag Team Champions, Scott Steiner and the nWo-Midajah, Shakira and Major Gunns

In 2002, Vince McMahon brought the nWo back to life in the WWE

The First Incarnation-Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall-The original three were brought in by Vince McMahon

The Second Incarnation-Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, X-Pac, The Big Show

Note: Hogan turned face and quit the group. This led them to bring in X-Pac and The Big Show

The Third Incarnation-Kevin Nash, X-Pac, The Big Show, Booker T, Shawn Michaels

Note: Hall was released from his contract. Booker T and Shawn Michaels joined the group

The Final Incarnation-Kevin Nash, X-Pac, The Big Show, Shawn Michaels

Note: Michaels literally kicked Booker T out of the nWo. Soon after, Kevin Nash would suffer a legitimate quadriceps tear, putting him out of action for nearly a year.

The following week on the 500th Edition of RAW which was still on The New TNN @ the time, the group was officially disbanded by Vince McMahon as Eric Bischoff (The Original Creator of the nWo) became the General Manager of RAW from 2002-2005

In 2004, The nWo was reformed @ TNA Victory Road '04 and they became known as The Kings of Wrestling, but that was short-lived in January of 2005

In 2010, TNA Wrestling came up with their version of the nWo called The Band

They did it at least 5 different times, but after the first one, no one cared. It was almost THE ONLY ANGLE on the top of the card for YEARS. People stopped caring. That is the very definition of an angle running too long. And in the case of WCW and the nWo, it killed the promotion, because it was the only thing that the bookers knew how to book.

Well let me say this:

I was never a fan of the nWo, but I agree with some of y'all

Hogan, Hall and Nash is what should've kept the nWo, but then when they started adding guys like Bagwell, Norton, Big Bubba, V.K. Wallstreet, Konnan and later Scott Steiner, Brian "Crush" Adams and Vincent who didn't do justice, not to mention adding a guy who people never heard of like Horace Hogan (whom, IMO wasn't a great wrestler) and then, when the nWo split into the Wolfpack and Hollywood and then brought in the LWO, that's when things got SOOOOOOOO out of control

and then, when Ric Flair def. Bischoff for control of WCW, they've decided to make a Super Wolfpack with Hogan, Hall and Nash along with Lex Luger, Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell and Miss Elizabeth as their valet and nWo Black & White had Stevie Ray, Horace Hogan, Vincent, Scott Norton and Brian Adams, it got them no where

and yes, it was a bigger joke when they brought back nWo 2000 and added Jeff Jarrett and also, Bret Hart wasn't fit to be in the nWo

and also, the WWE's version of the nWo was a joke

It had Hogan, Hall and Nash, and then, Hall, Nash and Waltman reunited and then they've added Big Show (Formally The Giant) and then, Booker T. who wasn't fit for the nWo and finally, Shawn Michaels

Thank GOD that the WWE's nWo didn't last too long

i wouldnt have minded a valet or Bischoffs association for the authority figure,but the numbers got too much,,really out of hand,look at this way,ppl refer stables with too many guys as "like the NWO"
