Did You Know WCW/Ric Flair

Ric flair actually OWNED the WCW world title belt itself up until 1991, as he originally bought it for use by the company using his own money!


WCW paid Ric Flair $75,000 to give back the WCW title after he had departed to the WWE in 1991.

I thought that was about a safetydeposit that all title-holders made?

It was a carryover from the NWA days when they owned the "Big Gold Belt"...
