Did You Know Andy Leavine...

Post by yourcrapsweak » Aug 27th, '11, 09:43

Did you know Tough Enough winner "Silent Rage" Andy Leavine had wrestled in FCW for over a year under the name Kevin Hackman before winning Tough Enough?

So he basically wrestled in FCW, changed his ring name, won a WWE reality show and went back to wrestling in FCW like it never happened except for the name change? Nice....... 8-|

Yep. He wrestled for a year in FCW under the name Kevin Hackman, and then was sent to Tough Enough under his real name. And then he won, and went right back to FCW under the same name Kevin Hackman (I went to a FCW show not too long ago and he was billed as "Silent Rage" Kevin Hackman. Sound fishy?

Wait he's not going by Andy Leavine in FCW right now? Thats just plain stupid, he went through with it all only to be billed with Silent Rage in front of his name?! Proper sh*t.....

yea i knew that,i thought everyone did, that was the whole deal with tough enough,,All those guys had been in FCW(or at least several) only to either give up their wwe contract or go right back where they started.

I knew that, but only because he's still wrestling in FCW with that name.

Why would they have him win Tough Enough only to stick him back in FCW? Makes no sense to me.

It could have been a few reasons. From what I understand, the voting really was up to Stone Cold and Co. Regardless, the winner wasn't ready for TV. He couldn't put a TV worthy match together, and I remember the trainers thinking he was dangerous.

Also, from a kayfabe standpoint, Tough Enough was originally meant for guys with little to no training. It makes perfect sense that the winner of competition based on potential would be placed in the Developmental Territory.

Two things. One, if this is the case, then why was he put in Tough Enough if he already was in FCW? And two, why did he win if everyone thought he still sucked?

And I don't think TE was for guys with no training, even from a kayfabe point of view. They had guys that they openly stated had wrestled around the world for years (Matt Cross).

A few of the TE Kids were already in FCW. Miss America, Leavine, Alicia Fox's sister were all already under contract. It really didn't make any sense. When one of them (Rimah I think) was asked about this directly, she explained that she "gave up" her developmental deal to be on the show, and if she lost she would lose everything. If she won it'd "be worth the risk to say I won Tough Enough. It'll sky rocket my career. I'll be the next Trish Stratus or Miley Cirus".

OK, I didn't directly quote her, but that was the gist of it.

Why Andy if everyone thought he still sucked? Maybe he sucked the least. I mean, you'd think the winner would be fit to at least wrestle ONE match on live TV after winning, and they didn't let him do that. They didn't even air the matches Andy and Luke wrestled in FCW that "decided" the competition. They wouldn't even air these on Tough Enough... and they were against their trainer... /:)

No, you're right. They openly talked about it this latest season. I'm remembering back to season 1 and 2, the contest was intended for "athletes" that wanted to be wrestlers (John Morrison).

.
that was Chirstina Fox who gave up her contract. I don't remember Rimah being in FCW prior to TE.
