Gave no 5* rating to any match from 06 to 2011.
more specifically, from
3/31/06 Do Fixer vs. Blood Generation (ROH Supercard Of Honor) to 7/17/11 John Cena vs. CM Punk (Money in the Bank)
Anyone know why? was he just in hater mode?

Re: Did you know....Meltzer
It's possible. Dave's ratings often completely baffle me. There are SO many matches between that period of time that almost everyone who has seen them has given ***** to (The two Shawn-Taker matches, Dragon vs. Nigel at Unified and at Driven 2007, Dragon vs. KENTA, Davey vs. Tyler from Death Before Dishonor VIII, Steen vs. Generico at Final Battle 2010, too many KENTA matches in NOAH to name), but Dave stubbornly gave ****3/4 to. Hell... he only gave AJ Styles vs. Minoru Suzuki ****3/4, but seemed to WAY overrate a whole bunch of other G-1 matches (specifically got Honma, Shibata, and Tenzan).
It is worth noting that he refused to grade the Briscoes vs. Steenerico Ladder War because he didn't want to encourage people to do such dangerous stuff, which makes me think that he was going to give the match *****, but didn't want to do it because of some sense of responsibility... as if wrestlers would do that sh*t anyway.
He has also admitted to grading matches on a bit of a curve (at least for the WWF in the eighties, saying that Savage vs. Steamboat wouldn't have been ****3/4 in the NWA.
