Did you know that Norman Smiley was a World Heavyweight Champion in CMLL in the early 90's?

Wow! Did not know that!

He's so good at comedy I can't imagine him doing anything else... much like Santino's first gimmick in OWV (the awesome shoot fighter one), it'd be surreal to see Norman Smiley as the world champion of anything!

yeap, knew that, under a different gimmick but yes.

did you also know that Val Venis was the CMLL champion before he left to WWE? he had to vacate the title
