CARMELLA vs. PEYTON ROYCE- 2.25/10
I love how Carmella took Enzo’s great intro for her and tried to add some dramatic flair to it, thus completely ruining it.
I’m almost certain these two wrestled a few weeks ago but Royce had a different name. The match was not very good.

JOE & BALOR BACKSTAGE- pointless

HIGHLIGHTS FROM DUSTY RHODES TAG TEAM CLASSIC MATCHES AT AN NXT HOUSE SHOW- great! That right there tells me that NXT house shows matter. I actually advocated TNA doing this for the Bound For Glory Series, but they rarely ever did.

NIA JAX VIDEO- same thing we’ve seen for a few weeks now.

DUSTY RHODES TAG TEAM CLASSIC FIRST-ROUND MATCH: Tyler Breeze & Bull Dempsey vs. Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano- 3.25/10
I’m trying to come up with a clever name for Breeze and Dempsey, but the best I’ve got is “Gorgeous and Enormous” which isn’t very good. If this was PWG, I assume they would name the team “Two Husky Black Guys.”
They had a bid of a good story going with Breeze getting over his head and tagging Dempsey in to get himself out of trouble, but after the commercial break they forgot all that and the match was mostly dull. Then Breeze and Dempsey had a miscue which resulted in Dempsey being rolled up, but there was so much time between the distraction and the roll-up and he had taken so little damage that I was shocked when he didn’t kick out. Breeze attacked Dempsey after the match.

LUCHA DRAGONS PROMO- good stuff, but them doing the “Lu-cha!” chant alone backstage was dumb.

DEVIN TAYLOR INTERVIEWS DANA BROOKE- long and boring. Also, there was at least once when she said “NXT Champion” instead of “NXT Women’s Champion.” She also stole the Dollhouse’s catchphrase.

TYE DILLENGER VIDEO PACKAGE- yeah… since when were we supposed to care about this guy?

BILLIE KAY vs. DANA BROOKE- 4.5/10
I think this is what the earlier women’s match was going for. It was a perfectly competent but low-key wrestling match.

DEVIN TAYLOR INTERVIEWS APOLLO CREWS- he calls his fans the “Apollo Nation” which is SOOOO much lamer than calling them “Crews’ Crew.”

DUSTY RHODES TAG TEAM CLASSIC FIRST-ROUND MATCH: Finn Balor & Samoa Joe vs. The Lucha Dragons- 6.5/10
This match was taped at a Smackdown in Providence, RI, and thus had the Smackdown announce crew.
Rich Brennan claimed that Joe and Balor trained together at Inoki’s LA dojo. He also said that they’ve known each other for eight years. I’m certain that at least one of those two statements is false. Jimmy Uso was also quite bad.

Another very blah episode of NXT. It’s starting to feel like a developmental show again with a bunch of short matches.

i actually liked Carmella's performance a lot here, i think this was her best match so far. not saying it was overall good, but Carmella's best

i hated that they didn't show the matches, it told me that none of these 4 teams matter at all

It's Full Sail. The fans get behind Tye freakin' Dillenger when they give him a stupid gimmick. I sure you can get them to come up with a new chant for Crews.

it's not whether they can get a new chant or not, they've been using the indie chants for their advantage. Fight Owens Fight, Ole Ole, Balor Club, they've been keeping all of that, so I can see why they wanted to keep Nation for Uhaa.

When mine does it they are very late, often incorrect, and that's just English to English.

I was thinking more along the lines of a black and white shirt with the same skull, and same fangs and stuff, but with a bow on the skull
