BARON CORBIN vs. JOHNNY GARGANO- 6.25
One of those matches that you REALLY wish had gone another ten minutes because it would have been so fantastic.

SAMI ZAYN PROMO- awesome.
Also, apparently he and Joe have never faced off one-on-one before.

THE HYPE BROS. vs. COREY HOLLIS & JOHN SKYLER- ROH-style squash, but very entertaining.
Hype Bros. squashes are like the opposite of Ascension squashes. They will never cease to be entertaining.

INTERVIEW SEGMENT WITH BAYLEY & CARMELLA- I feel like I’ve seen this a million times at this point.
Also, Bayley had a Chibi Wrestlers shirt on.

CAMERON vs. ALEXA BLISS! (w/Blake & Murphy)- 4/10
Alexa!, Blake & Murphy have new gear and a new entrance. It’s not as good.
Cameron has what I think is new music. She’s heeling on the fans during her entrance, so I guess this is heel vs. heel. The people liked Alexa! a lot more than Cameron because Alexa! is great and Cameron is not. Alexa Bliss! picks up the win in a match that would have otherwise been bland if not for heel antics on both sides.

COLIN & ENZO PROMO & SEGMENT WITH JORDAN & GABLE- fun.

“THE DRIFTER” ELIAS SAMPSON vs. JESSE SORENSEN- squash
Anyone else find it interesting that with all of the recent talk about Daniel Bryan and the connected talk about Edge that WWE is allowing Sorensen to wrestle when TNA’s side of the story was that doctors told them that if Sorensen ever wrestled again, he could wind up paralyzed?
The crowd is just as sick of The Drifter as I am, chanting for him to “DRIFT AWAY!”

ALEX REYES INTERVIEWS APOLLO CREWS- fine. Crews usually manages to make the scripted stuff he is given sound natural.

NXT WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Bayley(c) vs. Carmella- 6.75/10
No Cass & Enzo out here with Carmella.
This match was beaten up way too much to not be the main event, especially down to a Samoa Joe promo about a mere #1 contendership match.
Carmella has definitely improved, but this match really felt like doing a lot with the basics instead of Carmella showing that much that was new. Still great though. They stole the Danielson-Marufuji finish from Final Battle 2005, which is one of those finishes that is brilliant in its subverting of expectations, and definitely leaves room for a rematch.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- Great!
First Nia Jax and Eva Marie came out and jumped Carmella on the ramp. Bayley goes to make the save but she gets beaten up, too. Carmella eats a few leg drops from Jax, then Asuka shows up to make the save. The heels back down, so Asuka turns her devious smile to Bayley and her NXT Women’s Title.

SAMOA JOE PROMO- good. But not “end of the show” good.

they've used the freedy kruger attire before. Also, i think this was just Alexa's evil theme, but BAMF should still be using their seizure theme
