Yea, and its been full of the exact opposite. Nothing at all but regular matches...Cena's GOTTA turn or they were just full of s**t...This show's had great false finishes and atmosphere, but damn how uneventful its been.
Hell, what happened to flat out sayin "Cashin in @ WM" ?
just another RAW pretty much

That's exactly how I feel. Great show, but nothing happened no title changes or anything besides the preshow (yet). I was surprised Henry went over, but it doesn't mean anything since Ryback basically avenged it after the match.

eh I think we all knew the finish of the Cena/Rock match

I don't know what I was expecting, but wasn't Cena/Rock basically the same match they had last year with a different outcome? At least Lesnar and Triple H felt like something fresh.
I'm still standing by Punk and Taker as my match of the night. Hands down.

yeah pretty much with the Cena/Rock bullshit
I did like the HHH/Lesnar match..they had more moves and highlights than I expected
but yeah...Taker/Puck was the Match of the Night

*sigh* This show... Was a complete... F***ing train wreck. Worst WM I've ever seen, I think. In fact, it makes WrestleMania XI looks amazing. 2/10.

The matches were extremely boring. Especially Cena Vs. Rock. That match there was the deal breaker. I could not for the life of pay attention to the match, almost nothing but armbars left and right, predictable ending, even the arena was drowning in boos and boring chants. Other than Undertaker Vs. Punk and Shovel Vs. Piss (The only really good matches), there were absolutely no redeeming features. It was just completely terrible in my opinion.

I was very surprised by the finishes of almost every match. I really enjoyed it; watched it with a bunch of casual fans and they really enjoyed it.
btw: did I miss the 8-person mixed tag or did that get scratched?

I did not get the least bit excited about this year'z card. A totally predictable loss for Punk which I hated right from the time I heard this match wuz signed. I want to see Punk win a PPV match dammit. This sux. The title being taken off Rock satisfiez me but it wuz also predictable so not interesting. HHH/Lesnar. Whatever. Waste of both since they already had it out last year. Yeah the top of the card just didn't interest me at all. If I learned after the card that Punk had beaten Undertaker, then I would've kicked my own ass for not watching it happen. Why iz it that I didn't participate in pick 'emz when I would've done well this time? Hell I even totally called that Big Show would wreck hiz team, but never told anybody. D'oh!
2 thingz did surprize me tho. 1 iz Miz over Barrett. I thought Barrett dezerved a longer title reign and that Miz shoudn't be both a talk show host and carry a belt. The second iz Del Rio. In fact, every successive PPV lately I've been expecting him to loze the belt. I like Del Rio, but I just keep thinking hiz challenger iz gonna win the belt.
Well I'm gonna watch Punk / Undertaker when I get the chance, just becauze u guyz say it wuz good.
I actually haven't seen WrestleMania az anything more than "just another PPV" for many yearz now. Royal Rumble iz this fan'z "big event of the year". Also gotta say Money In The Bank iz quite a lure for me.
U know what I'd like to see done az a retro thing? Bring back NWA/WCW's War Games World War III multi-ring team match! Even put it az the main event of "Survivor Series" seeing az it rezemblez a "special" kind of traditional Survivor Series match.
Re: HHH & Lesnar: OK HHH I have not much use for anywayz but c'mon! How bout Lesnar challengez Undertaker, or Lesnar vs. Mark Henry!!!

The show was pretty bad until the last three matches saved it. I'm not sure whether Brock vs. Hunter or Rock vs. Cena was the MOTN. Punk was Taker wasn't too far behind, though.

So, I think it's safe to say John Cena's victory shocked the world of casual fans. I was approached by no less than 4 people yesterday asking me, minds blown, if I could believe that John Cena beat The Rock. "So, is The Rock going away again? That's stupid."

as much as I have a distaste for Cena ((i just can't stand him..he's worse then hogan was in my view, cause it's pretty much always the same stuff from him)) but if the Rock is going to leave to film more movies and stuff, then I'm glad Cena won, because the way I see it you wan't your champion(s) to be there at the show and not off doing promo work for his movies
while it's fine to have your champ out doing stuff (as is fine with other wrestlers doing their own thing on the side) if he's not really out promoting your product other then "well the wrestling champ is here promoting his movie" then there is no real reason to keep him as champion.
I mean you do put the belt(s) on the guys/women you want to be the face of your product to be able to do things to help draw in money and ratings, but if he's out doing his own thing, (1) not only does it not really help your product but (2) it interferes with the storylines (( a couple weeks ago, they kept Cena off TV cause Rock was out promoting a movie and didn't want Cena out there talking cause it'd make the Rock look week))
Now if the Rock comes back to wrestle on a more part-time (a match say 2-3 a month) or comes back full time to wrestle then yes, give him the belt because you know it'll put ass' in the seats, because after all it is the Rock. but maybe im old fashion and believe your champ should be around to be able to do stuff on TV and other promo work to (once again) put ass' in the seats
but for now I'm fine with Cena as champ, I'll hit the mute button when he speaks cause it'll be the same as every other time he's been champ "I couldnt do this without my fans" and blah blah blah

I'm surprised to see so many negative responses; I thought it was better than most of the last few manias. They cut the most useless match, all the matches got decent time, and it wasn't saturated with celebrities and promos/video packages. Several wrestlers fought through injury and those matches were DAMN good. Everyone knew before Sunday that Cena and the Rock would be booed out of the building at WM; regardless of what they did. Still, the match had the fans paying attention; they were watching VERY closely, waiting for a chance to chant or boo.
My only gripe is with the Fandango match; I think they should've had the RAW match on WM and Fandango's debut should have been on last week's RAW; I just felt like him getting on the mic after the match last night was MUCH more of a payoff/WM moment than a small package victory in the shortest match on the card (If not the shortest, then the second shortest

It was definitely oversaturated with video packages. They were just all about WWE's various charity endeavors, rather than about the matches.

How many? I saw two; and they weren't very long. There was almost NO backstage stuff and Diddy only used about seven to ten mins. Compared to last year and the year before, the there was VERY little fluff and most of the show was matches in the ring. There was no backstage segment with Diddy holding some American Idol ripoff (I enjoyed when Snoop did it, but I'd rather have wrestling at WM) and he was the ONLY guy there to perform a song (wasn't there two or three performers last year? Flo Rida, MGK, and someone else? in addition to video packages, promos, backstage stuff, AND WWE commercials).
I saw someone post that this was the worst WM in years and there is NO way that that is possible. IMO, A WM that spends most of the time WRESTLING, is def not a bad WM. I mean, I didn't even see where anyone could complain about the show itself; it lacked almost all the things we usually complain about at WMs and the one thing we all claim to want more of.
I think this WM was well executed/performed
