I don't think the analogy holds too much water, as it's really Corbin who screwed Braun, whereas Brock was the one who screwed Goldberg in the Rumble, thus necessitating Goldberg helping Eddie to get revenge on Brock.

it's not an analogy, it's a match formula. Brock destroys Styles, Strowman comes in and levels Lesnar, AJ picks the win. Everyone celebrates.

It was because Eddie won the world championship for the first time, and after overcoming substance problems. AJ is already a world champion, has been many times over, and this is a match with nothing on the line. no one is comparing celebrations or anything. it's just a match formula which also included Lesnar, a small guy, and a large guy interfering.

no one is comparing it either. How many small vs big with interference of another big person that includes Brock Lesnar AND to build such Lesnar vs that other big guy have you ever seen?

Why does Brock have to be in the example at all? It just... seems to me that if you're going pick a specific example to bring up to explain a situation that is so commonplace that it shouldn't need an illustrative example, then you are inherently making a comparison between the scenario you intend to have happen and the specific example you picked.
