WWE did many really awful things in the late '80s & early '90s with incoming talent who had already established themselves elsewhere. Damn near everybody who was already a good and believable character in their prior career came to WWE and was given a totally ridiculous gimmick.

While Terry Taylor (imo) had it the worst honorable mentions to throwing polka dots on Dusty Rhodes and a cape and crown on Harley Race.

Bob-o Ed Leslie was awesome as The Man With No Name in DoD...
