At least they can make sense out of that one with the whole "Roddy vs. The World" thing... but if you're going to do this, at least set Matt's title shot up with an Honor Rumble or something.
I'm hoping they explain this using the Bucks vs HOT match from december, even though Dijak took the pin

Which is exactly why it wouldn't make any sense. I didn't post the article itself (I think because of spoilers), but they did not mention the Florida match in any way. It was all "#YoungBucks #SuperkickParty."

now that I think about it, it would have been a perfect excuse to fire Dijak, if him losing was the reason for Lethal to have a title match against Matt and so it's Lethal decision to fire him, which would lead for Dijak vs Lethal in some "Road to" show or tv taping

Yup. And making the firing Lethal's decision would allow you to book Dijak a lot stronger throughout last year, which would also make it Lethal's heelish ego as the reason Dijak is fired instead of Dijak having to lose all the time (which would also make Dijak a more credible challenger for Lethal when he gets his shot). In fact, if they had thought this through, they could have set this up a lot better by being Matt be the Jackson brother who got the pins whenever the Bucks won, and booked him against someone he could actually beat that one weekend when Nick wasn't there (on the first show you've got Caprice Coleman, Shaheem Ali, Takaaki Watanabe, and Will Ferrara while on the second show, instead of having him beat one of the tag champs and having it go nowhere, you could have stuck him in the Daniels vs. Hanson match and had him steal Daniels pin on Hanson, which would make a lot more sense than a DQ with this stupid "there's a conspiracy against us" thing the Addiction were doing and also could have been used to eventually set up the Bucks getting a tag title shot). It's just more of Delirious' lazy booking.

Also, firing Dijak makes a lot more sense if Lethal is still the TV Champion so you can have Dijak use the TV Title shot he earned by winning the Top Prospect Tournament to go after Lethal.

A bunch of matches announced for Duluth:
Mark Briscoe vs. Cedric Alexander
Dalton Castle vs. Corey Hollis
ANX vs. Cheeseburger & Moose (MooseBurger?)
Six Man Mayhem: Page vs. Kaz vs. Jay Briscoe vs. Ferrara vs. Silas vs. Caprice Coleman

All are fine filler matches, with Mark vs. Cedric having the potential to deliver and Six Man Mayhem can be pretty awesome if given enough time (the six-way in Atlanta last year was a great reminder of that). Between these, the Bullet Club title shots and Cole vs. Stevie, that's eight matches right there. Nothing announced yet for Elgin or reDRagon, though, which is a little weird. I'm pretty sure they're not working FantasticaMania (especially if the Bucks aren't). Elgin losing clean to either reDRagon guy makes sense right now. You could do that, plus have Fish mirror Roddy by doing an open challenge of his own and you've got a decently strong card.

That's what I thought about pretty much every match Cedric had at every house show while they were doing the whole "unsafe working environment" storyline, but nothing ever became of any of that.

Here's the rest of the card for Asheville:

Michael Elgin vs. Kenny King
Cedric Alexander vs. Kyle O'Reilly
Silas Young vs. Bobby Fish
Frankie Kazarian vs. Moose
Four Corner Survival: Rhett Titus vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Adam Page vs. Dalton Castle

The first three should be solid (although I can't see them letting King beat Elgin
Hidden text.
which means that King will continue to be jobbed out even though he and Rhett should be on their way to a tag title shot after what happened at the last tapings
. Kaz vs. Moose can go either way, and the four way could be pretty good and is quite up in the air, depending on where they are going with most of these guys.

Between four women's matches in a division with no direction whatsoever, and then a seven team gauntlet in the tag division (which has direction, but still feels like a mess), I'm afraid these tapings will be a bit of a clusterf*ck.''

The world title match and Briscoes vs. Elgin/Tanahashi feel like they are exactly where they need to be already. The tag title match could have been at a fine place for a PPV already if they wanted it to, and the stuff they have booked to supposedly help get it there doesn't seem very helpful.
Meanwhile the TV Title probably needs another segment or two (in other words, one tapings worth of stuff) to get where it needs to be, Moose can always get another win before facing Okada, Silas vs. Dalton definitely needs another tapings, whatever the deal is with Shelley and Sabin definitely needs more time, and the rest of the card... well... it needs more time, but everything is in such a random spot that we have no possible idea what any of the matches could be, which isn't where it should be at this point. It really feels like the Bucks, ACH, Shelley, and Sydal have gone nowhere, Dijak, Ferrara, and Coleman are going somewhere that isn't ready for a PPV quite yet, and Cedric is definitely headed in a direction, but not anything that should get him a match on a PPV.
I'm really worried that both these tapings and possibly even the Anniversary Show are just going to be kind of a mess.

Also, "Thunderkitty" is an acceptable ROH name.
