so theres the number one contender now after that match,oh damn just thought of this,,slight mistake he shouldnt have had to fight for the contendership cuz he gets the rematch,,small error i supose ,,all is well :D

There's a rational loophole to that theory: From what I understand, it wasn't ever specifically STATED that there was a "rematch clause" to the Continental title, so it could be implied that the recently defeated champion, instead of getting an automatic rematch, qualifies automatically for the next number one contender's match

yep that works,he just had to defend his contendership,,hell now that i mention that it could just be said he WAS number one contender all along but just had to fight to keep it

Youre a very astute young fellow Kirbs.....well done :)

There isnt a rematch clause in any WWR title, its all done on a discretion basis really :)

As for the shot at ROH, I thought angling in a real wrestling promotion was the way to go, instead of staying all 'mainstream'
