Chad Patton (ref) didn't know the finish for Undertaker/Lesnar

According to the new Observer by Dave Meltzer.

"Then he did it a third time. Referee Chad Patton, who knew the same finish that everybody else thought they knew, hit the mat once, and then twice, and then didn’t know what to do.

He was told Undertaker was winning, but the rule every referee is told is that if the guys doesn’t kick out, you continue the count."

i'm calling bs on this, but worth sharing

I can absolutely understand protecting a finish from leaks, especially with something like this, but this is a little too far out there to believe.

exactly, i'm sure that at least he got told half way through the match. That count was smooth, he didn't really hesitate, there is not a single person that wouldn't hesitate on counting the end of the streak, hell, i'm sure even Lesnar hesitated before the 3rd count.

Yeah, BS. There were stories everywhere that the finish leaked an hour before the match. So... the odds makers knew but the ref didn't ...? I don't buy it.
