Whether it can be attributed to the Randy Savage announcement or the return of Daniel Bryan or The Authority, Raw did very well given the competition of the national championship college football game on Monday.
The game did 33.25 million viewers on ESPN, which may be the most viewers for a show in the history of cable television.
Raw did 3.89 million viewers, well above its average on a night it would have been expected to get slaughtered. The three hours were:
8 p.m. 4.10 million
9 p.m. 3.90 million
10 p.m. 3.72 million
