So... they're right back to where they were. Again. Not making any gate. Of course it's better than running the Manhattan Center where they would still lose money with a sell-out, but still not good.

You're grasping at straws.
You don't think that fanbase already knows about them?
That fanbase likes good characters and good wrestling. TNA doesn't have that. And either way, it still doesn't solve the "no gate" problem.

yes they do, both, what they have is bad booking (in some other's opinion, not mine necessarily). I don't wanna start another tna vs the world discussion [-(

Who is a good character in TNA?
Austin Aries.
MVP.
Kong
That's it.
Maybe James Storm if you really like what he's doing right now, but I'm not that into it.

I will give you EC III. Him I totally forgot about.
TBP are just Angelina right now, and she had MUCH less personality than Velvet.
Kenny King could be one, but they don't ever let him be anything more than a stooge, so he doesn't get to show it well.
Bro-Mans are not good characters at this point. At this point they've just become annoying.
I don't think that the Wolves or Jeff are particularly good
characters. Maybe the Wolves could be if TNA could book to their strengths, but over this past year they've clearly shown that they can't.
Abyss isn't. Hasn't been forever. Like, since 2009.
Spud... is interesting. I'd really put him in the same boat as someone like Taryn. The character is good
if you've been following along and seen him evolve and grow to where he is. EC III feuding with his former stooge who is small and dresses like a dork with very little self-confidence isn't a story people can buy into unless they've seen how good of a stooge Spud was and the way that Ethan repaid him for it. (Taryn, similarly, is a pretty bland babyface unless you followed her rise as a worker and as a star to the top of the division- not saying Spud is bland because he's obviously not, but the idea is similar)
