As I wrote earlier this morning, TNA British Bootcamp alumnus Grado, who will headline this week's Impact Wrestling against Al Snow, has launched a campaign to get pop icon Madonna to sign off on his usage of "Like A Prayer" for his theme song. Grado has used the song for years on the British and Scottish wrestling scene but TNA was turned down when it requested for the rights to use the song.
Since pushing fans to go to social media and use "#SayYesMadonna", the term has been trending on Twitter, specifically in the regions where Grado is most famous.
As we noted earlier, the BBC has picked up the story, and today several other mainstream outlets, including Time Magazine, have as well:
Time Magazine coverage at this link.
Coverahe in national Scottish newspaper The Daily Record at this link.
STV, a national broadcast station on Scotland, covered the story at this link.
The term remains in the top 5 trends in the UK on Twitter.
