WAR MACHINE vs. THE DECADE (w/Colby Corino)- or not. Once again, BJ Whitmer makes Colby Corino take his place, so we get…

WAR MACHINE vs. ADAM PAGE & COLBY CORINO (w/BJ Whitmer)- no rating. Great segment.
Really fun interaction between Whitmer and the fans.
Page starts for his team… and immediately tags in Colby. Rowe tells Colby he’s not ready to face War Machine, so Colby slaps him across the face. Rowe has apparently known Colby for a long time and doesn’t want to kick his ass, so he tags Hanson in. Hanson beats Colby up some then Rowe comes back in to tell Colby to tag out. Colby doesn’t so Rowe kicks his ass. Page walks away to stop Colby from tagging out and Colby eats War Machine’s finisher.
Corino almost went after Whitmer. The fans were really hot for it.

CEDRIC ALEXANDER PROMO- he sounded really shrill and also needs to work on the emotional punches of his delivery. He did get the point across well, though, which was that he needs to pick up wins to prove to his family that his career isn’t just a waste of time… so he is calling out the undefeated MOOSE!

CEDRIC ALEXANDER vs. MOOSE (w/Veda Scott & Stokely Hathaway)- 6.5/10
Veda instructs Stokely to distract the ref, then she gives Moose a wrench, but Moose doesn’t want to cheat. Unfortunately for Moose, Cedric does, and he grabs the wrench, hits Moose in the head with it and PINS MOOSE!

HIROSHI TANAHASHI & TETSUYA NAITO vs. MATT SYDAL & ACH- 8/10
The Japanese were doing everything but cheat in order to be the heels, but the fans wouldn’t have it. The match was awesome. Easily the best match since the move to Destination America.

TITLE VS. TITLE MATCH CONTRACT SIGNING- First Lethal said mean things about Briscoe, then Briscoe said stuff about Lethal. Their seconds (Mark and Truth) held them back, and the last image we see on our go-home show is a face-off between the two of them.

A GREAT show from ROH, but I don’t think they ever mentioned the price of Friday’s PPV or how to order it. That’s some pretty damn important stuff there.

IS FUCKING ROH STUPID!!? Why do this on a house show!? he doesn't even need to get pinned on friday! Why the fuck would they follow this with C&C vs War Machine in a PPV!? if they don't really follow up on this on the PPV i'll complain on the internet with caps-lock on!

with the talk we've been having about the 'biggest match' and Nigel vs Bryan, it gave me chills Nigel being the middle man in the contract signing here. Also LOL'd hard for the Black Machismo thing.

or a run down of the card, they been doing a great job promoting on social media, not sure why they didn't waste 3-5 minutes to run down all matches really quick

It's not a house show. It's a TV taping.
But in theory I kind of agree with you. It does feel like a PPV moment.
If I were booking it, I would have had Roddy vs. Elgin as the #1 contendership match, (with Roddy winning, then you announce that Roddy will get his title shot at DBD, [which Elgin couldn't have had anyway because he'll be in Japan), Moose vs. Cedric at the PPV (with this finish), and War Machine vs. ACH/Sydal with War Machine winning.
Then you shoot a segment between Cedric and Caprice at TV and do the War Machine vs. C&C match at DBD with Cedric turning on Caprice either during or after the match, leading to their feud while War Machine continue to be set up as top contenders for the tag titles either at Field of Honor 2015, All-Star Extravaganza, or the next PPV.
I think the difference between the way we're looking at it and the way Delirious is is that we see DBD as an important point to progress things at whereas he is seeing it as another house show, while he is probably only viewing TV and PPV as such.

I agree it probably would have been best to replace the Colby stuff with this.
