ROH NEWS: Two big title matches announced for SSlam & NOC Weekends

At Saturday's ROH TV taping, Ring of Honor announced two ROH Title matches for upcoming big weekend tours.

First, Jay Lethal will defend the ROH Title against Roderick Strong on August 21 in Philadelphia during Summerslam Weekend. This will be a re-match from their 60-minute draw at the "Death Before Dishonor" Internet PPV on Friday.

Then, the winner of the Lethal-Strong re-match will defend the ROH Title against Kyle O'Reilly in September. This will be part of "All-Star Extravaganza" in San Antonio the weekend of WWE's NXT/Night of Champions tour.

Philly - Former ECW Arena on Aug. 21

- ROH World Title match: Jay Lethal vs. Roderick Strong in DBD re-match.

- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Adam Cole.

Brooklyn - MCU Park on Aug. 22

- Jay Lethal & Shinsuke Nakamura vs. ReDragon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish).

- IWGP World champion Kazuchika Okada vs. Roderick Strong.

- The Briscoes vs. Time Splitters (Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA).

- GHC/NWA Hvt. tag champions Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Archer) vs. War Machine (Hanson & Rowe).

San Antonio - All-Star Extravaganza on Sept. 18 & 19

- ROH World Title match: Lethal-Strong 8/21 winner vs. Kyle O'Reilly.

unless they're planning on going another 60 minutes, i feel they should have announced a 'no time limit' to advance the feud

It's a TV taping, so it would have to be "TV time remaining." They might well do another draw here to maybe set up Glory By Honor or Final Battle (maybe a bit too early for that) with no time limit.

oh tv taping, then they NEED to make this an 'all night long' style and just have them go like Richards and Black's final match
