I think Owens was the original plan, but Itami ended up needing too much time to heal and Owens ended up making the main roster way to fast, so they'll have to move to another wrestler.

I think it was Jushin Liger, he's come hunting him, he wants to rekindle his NOAH matches

If he didn't immediately mention it and it wasn't his literal first moment upon return, there's already a problem.
