We noted last week that 4-6 new talents were expected to start at the WWE Performance Center this month or next month. Two of those talents were waiting to pass physicals and have been talked about a lot online lately – Biff Busick and Rich Swann. Word now is that they are indeed signed to the company and expected to start in October. The whole “waiting for physicals” story may have just been a ruse put out.

WWE is also looking for Latino referees and New Jersey indie talent Bandido Jr. has either signed already or is very close to signing with the company. He will be working as a referee.

Regarding the other indie talents expected to start with WWE soon, I was told that top stars Johnny Gargano, Drew Gulak and Chuck Taylor are about to sign deals.

I wasn’t told this but the other indie talent coming in could be Tommaso Ciampa, who teamed with Gargano at the recent NXT TV tapings.

not sure how to feel about this.

It does kinda prove that Nxt works because of the indie/international guys and that WWE may not have as much faith on the rest of the guys they have. They could have easily just focused on hiring Tanner, Josh, Patrick, Amanda, and Sara Lee and just work with them

To add some more fuel to the conspiracy fire, the first few names were announced for the next Evolve shows, which will take place in October, AFTER the Takeover Special and next bunch of NXT tapings. Gargango, Busick and Swann were not mentioned, but Drew Gulak HAS been announced for those shows.
