Former WWWF champion Superstar Billy Graham, who at different points has railed against WWE, announced on his Facebook page that after speaking with Triple H via telephone and visiting at the WWE Smackdown taping in Phoenix, Arizona last week that he has signed a new WWE Legends deal.

Graham had openly accused WWF of wrong-doing and specifically accused Pat Patterson of molesting underage boys during an appearance on "The Phil Donahue Show" during a time period where a number of steroid and sexual scandals about the company were being thrown around. Graham later admitted nothing that he said was true and blamed himself for being bitter about his health and the end of his career. In his autobiography, Graham commented the appearance on "Donahue" was, "my most shameful moment, not only in the wrestling profession, but in my life."

WWE brought him back into the family, so to speak and inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004 with Triple H inducting him. At the time, there were a few people in the company upset about it, given the things Graham had said and the fact Patterson is so beloved among people in the company. WWE later released a DVD and autobiography on Graham.

After Graham's consulting contract had been ended in 2007, during a time period where WWE was cutting back in all aspects of the company, he again began railing against the company and specifically demanded to be removed from the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 because the company inducted Abdullah the Butcher in over the course of Wrestlemania 28 weekend due to Butcher allegedly blading others without their consent over the course of his career. Graham also claimed at the time he was selling or had sold his WWE Hall of Fame ring and publicly spoke out against Linda McMahon running for political office.

However, shortly after Dusty Rhodes passing, Graham publicly disclosed that he had written Vince McMahon, seeking to take over Rhodes' position heading up promo classes at the WWE Performance Center.

Graham wrote that his new Legends deal, "proves that miracles do happen" and that he had met with WWE's Mark Carrano in Phoenix to discuss different potential opportunities for the two sides now that they are working together.

Graham announced he would be attending Wrestlemania to appear at AXXESS in Dallas, Texas and that the company would be releasing merchandise for him in 2016.
