WWE officials were still debating what to do with the WWE World Heavyweight Title as of Sunday morning and going into afternoon, according to Wrestling Observer Radio. The decision was made to have Sheamus cash-in Money In the Bank and defeat Roman Reigns to win the title just a few hours before the show began.

While WWE officials still want Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title soon, it was also noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that they don’t want Reigns to win the title and still have people boo him.

They may be looking to build him up with angles and out-of-the-ring appearances before putting the title on him. No word yet on what they have planned for Sheamus’ reign as champion but he should carry the title at least until the Royal Rumble.

1. The MOMENT Rollins went down and they knew they were without all of these big names through Mania, they should have sat down and booked the entire world title picture through Mania. Anything else is criminally negligent (and it could be considered criminally as they are a publicly traded company with investors). You shouldn't be making decisions like cashing in MITB a few hours before a show. In fact, they should have known exactly when MITB was being cashed in BEFORE SHEAMUS WON IT.

2. I know it's been said a million times before, but I just don't understand why WWE is insistent on fighting these uphill battles:
The people are responding well to Cesaro? PUSH HIM!
The people are booing Roman but you want him to be a main eventer? MAKE HIM YOUR TOP HEEL! You can always turn him babyface later if you really want to.

triple H's ego man, they could have had Wyatt win the tournament while Taker/Kane go over the other three, or hell, every Wyatt goes over and all Wyatts reign supreme over every heel in WWE. Sure, it means more Roman vs Wyatt, but at least Wyatt can get some real heat, and not like Sheamus that needs to get it through Triple H. Someone needs to retire the authority already
