It’s no secret that TNA recently made a play for former World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg but WWE also has interest in bringing him back to the ring.

While WWE wants a 1 year deal, there has been talk within the company of bringing Goldberg in on a 6 month contract. At last word, the deal had not been offered to him but it could be offered soon as we get closer to WrestleMania 32.

Goldberg reportedly just wants one match from WWE, that being at WrestleMania, but it remains to be seen if he would be open to a 1 year deal or even the 6 month deal.

There was the feeling that Goldberg actually has leverage with WWE right now as everyone knows TNA has some money they’re looking to spend on big names.

Why would a possible TNA date give him leverage with WWE?

WWE have to know Goldberg wouldn't waste his one more match opportunity on TNA. There just wouldn't be enough pay or publicity in it.

Because TNA is just crazy enough to throw a ridiculous amount of money at Goldberg to get him to actually do it.

this was hinted yesterday, it obviously doesn't mean much

Not the guy I'd like to see Kurt in there the most with, but as a final Goldberg match, I'll take it.
