Stardom launches worldwide streaming service
By Josh Nason
Stardom, the leading Joshi company in Japan, announced they are launching their own worldwide streaming service through YouTube, announced on their English Facebook page.
It will be $5 USD monthly with the idea of catering to English speaking fans as many of the non-Japanese wrestlers like Chelsea, Evie and Santana Garrett hosting "Tea Time With..." shows. Old shows are going up gradually with new shows going up a few days after happening.
From our Alan Counihan: “As far as women's wrestling goes, Stardom is generally considered by many to be the gold standard especially when it comes to full time touring companies. They offer a very colourful product backed up by incredible in-ring action. Their biggest star is Io Shirai, a very charismatic wrestler who has had some amazing matches lately with the likes of Kairi Hojo and the legendary Meiko Satomura.”
