TMZ.com reported that WWE star Raymond "Adam Rose" Leppan was arraigned today in Florida following his arrest yesterday morning at his home on a felony charge of tampering with a witness, his wife, and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery against her.
Leppan's wife spoke before the court, asking the Judge presiding over the case, to not issue an order of protection against Leppan - as such a thing would prevent Leppan from having communication with his wife or from returning to their home until the case is resolved - as they have a special needs son that requires both of their care. The Judge wanted to issue the order because there had been a previous incident this past March that had not been publicly disclosed until today's hearing.
Leppan's wife told the Judge that there were no marks on her body or face and that police took photos for "no reason." She also told the Judge that Rose has been regularly seeing his Pastor and attending a men's bible study group since the March incident. The Judge agreed with Rose's wife's request, contingent upon Rose seeing his Pastor on a weekly basis for counseling until his next court hearing in June. The Judge ordered Rose to produce evidence that he had been the Pastor regularly or to have his Pastor appear at the next hearing.
The Judge ordered that Leppan be bonded out for $500 for each offense ($1000 total) and warned Leppan that there were to be no acts of violence or threats of acts of violence against his wife in the future. Leppan said that he understood and thanked the Judge.
Leppan is expected to be bonded out later today. He will return to court sometime in June.
Leppan has been suspended indefinitely by WWE until the criminal case against him is resolved.
