Total Divas star Eva Marie says she was suspended by WWE on a technicality … however, the wrestler claims she’ll take her punishment in stride and respect the company’s decision.

Eva released a statement to Pro Wrestling Sheet saying, “I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won’t compromise on its integrity.”

As we exclusively reported, Eva Marie was suspended yesterday for a Wellness Policy violation and the company released a statement saying this was her first offense.

WWE Superstars Paige and Alberto Del Rio were also suspended this week for Wellness violations.

Eva adds, “I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return! Thank you for your support.”

Supposedly she is allowed to take it but didn't file the proper paperwork before a deadline or something. Aderall as a banned substance is ridiculous in these circumstances. I still think this is a work, and the Aderall story is a face-saver for the purposes of public consumption (we can't have Eva be a druggie or a steroid user, so this Aderall plus paperwork deadline should prevent any sort of stigma against her).

but this would be fucked up if it is a work, suppose she does get busted twice after, she's fired

If they found a way to take a strike off of Orton, they can find a way to take a strike off of her. Maybe write in some clause that allows you to remove the strike once you've filed the proper paperwork for your drugs.
