Hideo Itami is reportedly out of action again due to injury. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Itami was injured at an October 1st house show where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura against Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli. You can see video of the match and the moment where the injury occured below; Itami takes a powerslam wrong and lands on his neck.

The site says that the injury is, as would be expected from the incident, neck-related and could keep him out for months. If true, that would obviously make it impossible for him to be part of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic which he was scheduled to compete in alongside Kota Ibushi. Itami recently came back after a shoulder injury that had him out for more than a year.

yeah, i kinda looked like he wasn't ready for the spot fast enough, he went for that low height powerslam that Orton does and failed at it
