The Ring of Honor television situation is now up in the air as the three different people who had been the announcers for the brand over the past few years are now gone with the departure of Kevin Kelly.

PW Insider reported Kelly being gone from the promotion and we've also confirmed that story. Kelly is headed to Japan for a week to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling doing both the February 5th show in Sapporo and the February 11th show in Osaka.

Kelly will remain announcing wrestling with New Japan, working with Don Callis, who was Cyrus in ECW during the late 90s.

Kelly's departure follows that of Steve Corino and Nigel McGuinness, who both left for WWE, with Corino working as a trainer and McGuinness as a broadcaster, who started at the U.K. tournament and is now a regular with NXT starting on the show that airs this coming Wednesday night.

Mark Briscoe would be better. Nana wouldn't be any worse than Kevin. In fact, he'd probably be better. He does know how to put someone over, and while he might say a lot of irrelevant things, he almost certainly won't say things that hurt the product, either by screwing up the build, making babyfaces seem like heels, or by burying the product by not knowing its history.
